Floppy Humped Camels and Other Delights

A black and white picture of a camel at the Denver Zoo. The camel has a hump that is flopped over.
A couple of weeks ago Amanda and I went to the Denver Zoo. What a grand time we had. We both hadn't been there for some number of years. It was fun getting to see all the animals. Who doesn't like to see cute little animals in a safe setting? Nobody, that's who. We plan on having spending quite a bit of time at the zoo when we have a kid because kids definitely love the zoo. And if you get the family pass it's quite affordable.

Although the zoo animals are pretty cute, they also can be pretty gross.
Like the Giraffes who were getting amorous in front of God and everyone. They did draw quite a crowd however. I have to admit that we watched them for a while. It was funny hearing the people who just showed up figure out what was happening. They were like, "Oh look giraffes, they are so...Oh my!" And then they would laugh much the same as I was. I even got my picture taken with them as you can see below.

Brad stands in front of the giraffes at the Denver Zoo. The giraffes in the background are being amorous with each other

There was also a bear who was scratching his or her butt and then smelled his or her paw! Ewww. Animals can be so nasty. People never do that.

Amanda, who is wearing glasses, poses next to a sign for four eyed fish at the Denver ZooAlso you will see on this page a picture of Amanda. You probably can't tell but the sign she is posing next to is for a 4 eyed fish of some sort. And you see Amanda wears glasses. Some people call this having "four eyes" so it seemed appropriate. I have four eyes too but my third and fourth are little pieces of plastic I wear right on my eye. I don't like wearing glasses out in public. I bet our kid is going to need glasses too! I assume that the parents' DNA has something to do with that. Both of our moms also wear glasses. So I guess unless something miraculous happens we should plan on having (a) bad sighted child(ren).

Well then it's about that time. You know what time I mean. I mean the time when we must part for the day or days. But don't fret. I am feeling very bloggy lately and that could mean that you might see me here more often posting my clever anecdotes or whatever it is I do. So thanks for reading and have yourself a super fantastic wonderful time until we next meet. Stay At Home Brad, over and out.
