Well, as you may have noted we attended a baby shower held by my mother yesterday. We got so much cool stuff and had lots of fun. We played the melted candy bar in the diaper game. (They all look like doody!) And we played this game where there was a bowl of rice with little safety pins mixed in with it. You were blind folded and had to sort through it to pick out the pins. Man was that hard. It doesn't seem like it would be but it is, trust me. You had only 1 minute to do it. The winner only got 8. I got 6, I was bad. The rice and the pins both felt the same to me. Very hard to differentiate between the two without being able to see. I guess it goes to show how much we rely on our eyes for things. I better start taking better care of mine, eh?
We got some totally cute baby clothes. The cutest were ones that had frogs right on the little butt part of the pants. Baby butts and frogs go together like a foot and a shoe. We also got one of the softest blankets I have ever felt. And not only is this blanket the softest, it also has a little hood to keep baby's head warm. It also fits an adult's head. I know because I tried it on to make sure. If the blanket weren't baby sized I would totally use it all the time in the winter. It really is the softest one ever made. Baby will love it for sure.
So all in all the baby shower was a grand old time. Amanda has one at her work coming up so she gets to do it again soon. Thanks to everyone who came yesterday and made it a special day for us. We really appreciate it. Well that's it for this posting. Have a great day everyone and don't forget to dial 9 to make an outbound call!
